Around the World
Want to go around the world by staying home?
Where are you going this summer? Well, you don’t have to go far at CFC to go around the world. You can do this by attending Beautiful Feet gatherings!
While we have done Beautiful Feet for years, you might not be aware of the opportunity. So, what is it?
Beautiful Feet takes its name from the words of the prophet Isaiah that are also repeated by the Apostle Paul: “And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!’” -Romans 10:15 (cf. Isaiah 52:7).
At CFC, we gather together often for God’s glory and our good in order to magnify what He is doing throughout the world through the beautiful feet of our global staff and partners. During these gatherings, we focus on hearing praise and prayer reports, interacting with missionaries, and finding encouragement from how God is at work around the world!
We have a pretty busy Beautiful Feet schedule this summer, and we pray that you would consider coming to one or more of these gatherings. Beautiful Feet is on select Sunday mornings from 10:45 - 11:45AM, and you can find the schedule for this summer’s classes below. You can find the room assignment closer to time by checking the eBulletin, stopping by The Center, or by calling the church.
6/8 - Charles Wu (serving in East Asia)
6/22 - Paul and Joyce Niednagel (serving in Taiwan)
7/6 - Tim Effinger (serving in Washington state & training for missions aviation)
7/13 - Johann and Andrea Vizagie (serving in Ireland)
7/27 - Noel and Patricia Miller (serving in Spain)
8/31 - Justin Abraham (serving in India)
A reason for all of us to consider attending is that these gatherings can actually help us be renewed in the knowledge of the Lord as we gather for His mission! (cf. John 3:16) We also know that when our friends come home and share, it is very encouraging for them to see other saints engaged and caring just by our being there. That’s right! You can be a blessing just by going!
Please join us this summer in Beautiful Feet, and may the Spirit of Jesus visit CFC powerfully through these Beautiful Feet gatherings.
