We Are So Blessed and Encouraged

CFC, your generosity this season has been extraordinary, and we want to pause to recognize what God has done through you. Because of your heartfelt participation in Operation Christmas Child, children around the world will receive not only gifts, but the hope of the gospel. Every shoebox you packed carries joy, dignity, and the love of Jesus to places many of us will never see firsthand—and that is a beautiful reflection of Christ at work in you! You gave over 1,100 shoeboxes, and as a drop-off site, CFC sent 2,370 boxes! You provided gospel opportunities to children, families, and neighbors as the Good News of Jesus is presented by locally-trained leaders at the distributions.

Oh, and by the way, you set a new record for the Food Drop!

This is year 17 for our Food Drop, and it’s arguably the greatest year of need yet – and you provided the greatest response we have seen in our 17 years! God used you mightily! This year was a record-breaker: $137,000 of food—more than ever before—going directly to families, food pantries, shelters, and hot-meal programs across our community. That number represents real people whose lives will be touched because you chose to give, serve, and show up. We will load up most of that tomorrow to deliver to 38 locations, and frozen meat and bread will be delivered to many hot-meal programs in a few weeks.

Thank you for being a church that loves generously, serves wholeheartedly, and shines the light of Christ both globally and right here at home! We are grateful for you, and we praise God for the impact your kindness is making!

What an honor to be a part of a church as generous as this one. To God be all glory! We can't wait to worship with you this weekend!
