R&R ST LOUIS TRIP 2026
Why Refuge? On this trip, our team will have the opportunity to meet global refugee families, who have been able to make St. Louis their home, after escaping war and political oppression in their home country. Now, these kids and their parents are able to find refuge in a loving community. They are able to finally learn about and see the love of Jesus, who is THE true refuge for all nations!
Why Restore? On this trip, our team will have the opportunity to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus in physically impoverished communities by engaging with widows, the elderly, the poor, and the disabled. Many may lack the family support they need. Under the guidance of the Workday program of Restore St.Louis, we will get to know them and offer help: We will learn how to physically restore homes through assembling wheelchair ramps and lifts. We will also learn about spiritually restoring people in Christ who is THE One who ‘restores all things.’ As we spend time in worship and have conversations about their culture, we can grow in the compassion of Jesus, and our grasp how God’s grace alone offers real hope and healing to restore all people and places.
